John Moore — Jewellery Product Films

Jewellery artist, John Moore creates beautiful designs that take great inspiration from the natural world.

I created a series of jewellery product films for artist and jewellery designer John Moore, showcasing two pieces inspired by the natural world: Lacewing and Pegoda II.

Rather than presenting the jewellery as static product shots, we used movement, lighting and the human form to explore the organic shapes and materials of each piece. For Lacewing, Royal Ballet performer Louis McMiller used controlled movement to reveal the changing forms and highlights of the necklace, while Pegoda II used model Missy Fatale and flowing fabric to create layered shapes inspired by the design of the jewellery.

The result is a pair of atmospheric product films that treat the jewellery as both an object and a piece of wearable sculpture.
