Pfizer — Pharma Annual Review Story Films

Over a number of years I worked with Pfizer to create a series of films supporting the company's Annual Review. Rather than simply presenting the year's corporate achievements, the films focused on the people behind the work, using stories from patients, scientists and Pfizer employees to bring the review to life.

I travelled across North America to find and film contributors whose stories represented the year's work, developing interview-led narratives that could communicate complex subjects through personal experiences.

When Covid restrictions made international filming impossible, I developed a different approach. I created filming instructions and a creative brief that enabled Pfizer's scientists to film themselves on their phones. The resulting footage created an intimate, documentary-style 'day in the life' perspective, allowing the stories to continue despite the restrictions on travel and production.
